OVERVIEW
The SETA Youth Academy is a 3-day touch training camp for athletes aged 12 -17 years looking for a pathway into the England selection.
ABOUT THE ACADEMY
Participants who attend the academy are selected from the camp to represent SETA at Nationals and possibly fast-tracked into the England set up prior to the Youth Touch World Cup. The representative teams in the SE are Sharks and Taipans.
The regional coaches come together to coach the teams and are supported and assisted by High-Performance Touch coaches & players.
WHY ATTEND?
This event plays an important role in developing young aspiring players and provides pathway opportunities.
The camp includes agility and skill components, fitness testing, body management, injury prevention and an elite induction with guest speakers.
